The Lectrosonics L1 lavalier microphone, dramatic dark cinematic studio lighting
New · Sub-miniature lavalier

L1

The smallest honest microphone we have ever shipped. Self-noise low enough to sit under a whisper, a body that hides under wardrobe, and the build you expect from a lav that has to work on the take you can't redo.

A spec sheet doesn't get the mic on the actor.

A lav lives or dies on two things: can you hide it, and can you trust what comes back. The L1 is the smallest lav we machine, small enough to vanish in a collar or a hairline. Its self-noise reads lower than most pencil condensers, so a quiet room stays quiet on the track instead of hissing under the dialogue.

None of that helps if it dies in the rain on day three. So the L1 is built the way we build everything: to keep working long after the shoot has stopped being kind to it.

Film & TV

Hidden in a collar or a hairline on a period costume, where a visible mic ends the take and the low self-noise keeps a quiet set quiet.

02

Broadcast & ENG

A small, durable lav for the anchor desk and the field, sized to disappear on camera and built to keep going between resets.

03

Theatre
